[flexcoders] Set Focus When Loaded

I have noticed that when a Flex app starts up in my browser (i've tested firefox and IE), the browser retains focus.  Is there anyway to automatically set focus to app when it loads?  I've tried to call focus() in _javascript_, but that doesn't seem to be doing it.
