However im going to need to build the player and its logic in flex and the design elements being the button controls, trackbar , statusbar etc will be done by designers in flash 7 and 8. How is it possible to get this kind of swf embedded, i have not yet tested if its possible but read it wasnt. LocalConnection just sounds too intensive for internal communication between the two, especially for keeping the status bar updated aswell as keeping the trackbar updated and then also listeners controlling the video component aswell, especially the trackbar.
