[flexcoders] create swc from mxml components?

Can we create a swc from mxml components?  I'm trying to in Flex Builder, but is not working.  I have a mxml based component say com.foo.ui.myTree.  Seems to build a swc in a library project.  I drop the swc into a FB project and add it to the library but can't see 
com.foo.ui.myTree.  Somethign special I need to do?  Or do these things HAVE to be AS based?-- Douglas Knudsenhttp://www.cubicleman.comthis is my signature, like it?
