Hi Karsten, We're working on a Ruby implementation of our server (WebORB). The implementation will provide support for both AMF0 and AMF3 (Flash and Flex) clients. So with Flex, you will be able to use RemoteObject to invoke methods in your Ruby classes deployed in a Rails application.
