I've seen similar things with much smaller file sizes that are developed continuously or run over and over again (a.k.a. developed).
Shutting down Builder and the browser that the app has been launched in repeatedly (we're using the Eclipse plugin and firefox, but whatever) seems to help out. We've had to reboot a few times when ig got really bad. It almost seems like a memory leak on our part. You hit some unknown threshold, and suddenly your... typing ... appears ... one ... l .. e ... t ... t ... e ... r (sorry) at a time. Can't wait for the mac version...
