Sure, my setup worked from the beginning.  But I already was using tracing in 1.5, so my mm.cfg was already set up.

 

Are you sure you have the debug player installed and have configured Flex Builder to use the browser that has the debug player installed?

Hi Deepa,
I went step by step through the entire process again, as well as
trying a few other methods and am still unable to get any tracing to
work in flex 2. Has anyone been able to get trace statements to output
to the console window? If so, do you have any pointers?
