Hi Claudia, You are correct on both counts. You're getting an error because of timing. You'll have to wait until the stage object is available to the application. However, setting the showDefaultContextMenu property to false doesn't entirely remove the context menu. It only removes the top three menu options. As far as I know you can't eliminate the context menu completely.
