I have multiple cairngorm sub applications developed as encapsulated modules which are loaded at runtime by a shell. At the moment I am shuttling events between the shell and the child app's through some interface objects. In a child app I have a Bridge interface which returns a facade object to the shell. The shell can trigger events in the child through the facades public methods. The child also has a handle on the shell's cairngorm event dispatcher so it can also fire event's on the parent. This arrangement is ok but I'm sure there are better ways. I am not familiar with spring so would be quite interested in how you think it might be applied.
Ultimately what I would like is for any cairngorm event to be caught by a handler which in turn knows which other applications have an interest in the event being broadcasted. I was going to have a go at customising the cairngorm event dispatcher and some sort of listener object to do this.
Any other ideas?

Hi all,
ok, now I know what to say...
I would love to have a straightforward way of adding mini
hierarchichal cairngorms to my components instead of exteriorizing
their internal MVC to the global cairngorm.
Something in the line of how Spring manages the hierarchy of contexts.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Aldo
