LOL Basically it had to do with my referencing a shortcut to the model in my View. I referenced it as myShortcut = ApplicationModel.getInstance().shortcutTarget. It should have only pointed to the bindable property of the class which was the model instance itself, not any sub properties of it. I could workaround this issue, for those that care, by also sticking a [Bindable] tag above the property in the Model as well. Se La Vi.
