i am trying to change the state of one component from a differnt one(a TabNavigator). i am currrently using a captured IndexChangedEvent on the tabnavigator to trigger afunction that will change other component state, i have no problem targeting this component but would like to match the selectedindex from the tab to a state index on the recieving component. is there a method to retrieve and set this type of property i have been trying (...currentState.index)
