the model variable is bound and in the following snippet
<mx:TextInput id="manager" text="{model.currentProspect.manager}" width="146"
x="71"
y="99" />
whenever I type something into the manager field the model is NOT updated
unless I add the
following change event:
change="{model.currentProspect.manager = manager.text;}"
