You could try to reinstall the debug player. The debug player install programs are located at Program Files/Adobe/Flex Builder 2/Player/debug. I had a similar problem when I upgraded to the final release. I ran Install Flash Player9.exe and Install Flash Player 9 AX.exe and it fixed the problem.
