I uploaded the current status of my project on my university webspace. If you're interested, take a look at http://www.uni-koblenz.de/~inferno/vizeg/1004/main.html. The project is a management an visualization tool for history dates. It is still in progress, and not all features are complete. For a beginner like me, it was easy to develop the data management part. But i noticed, that for the visualization is a more programming knowledge, especialy in actionscript, required. I uploaded also the scources of the visualisation part, there a only a few lines. But the code is still buggy, because i'm not able to change the length of my rectangles inside a createChildren() function. I would be pleased if you've perhaps a idea to solve it.
