Position Summary:
Adobe is seeking a senior level software engineer to join the Flex 
team.  Flex is the next generation UI platform for creating rich 
internet applications and is leading the wave of new software tools 
for creating more engaging user interfaces on the web.  This role 
will focus on investigating new business opportunities that leverage 
Flex and other Adobe products.  You will be responsible for creating 
proof of concepts and working with product management & marketing 
and customers to define next generation products.  This is an 
exciting opportunity for creative individuals who want to help 
define the future of internet software development.  You will have a 
proven track record of innovation, creating apps that have a focus 
on usability, strong architecture skills, strong UI coding skills, 
experience in creating platforms & frameworks and knowledge of 
emerging Web 2.0 trends. Areas of research will focus on products 
that are highly visual, expressive and real-time.

Knowledge & Skills: 

-Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
-Minimum of 6 years experience in software development.
-Experience in developing enterprise web applications using: Java, 
J2EE, .NET, application servers, servlets, SQL, JDBC, XML.
-Strong knowledge of web applications development tools, 
technologies, languages (JSP, XML) and trends. 
-Experience developing in Flash Actionscript or 
JavaScript/DHTML/AJAX.
-Experience with application class libraries such as Java Swing and 
MFC.
-Extensive background in applying object oriented software 
development (Java, C++) methodologies.
-Background in full product development life cycle - preferably in 
shrink-wrap software.
-Desired: Experience with other Macromedia and Adobe product lines.
-Desired: Experience in building software development tools.
-Motivated self-starter who likes working on very productive, fast 
paced teams.
-Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates.
-Java, J2EE, .NET, app servers, JavaScript/DHTML/AJAX.
