Ah, I think I should have been more specific. I need this to be like a two second color transform. From green to white. I tried a few different approaches yesterday:
1. write an onTweenUpdate function that slowly returns higher and higher hex values through some wierd math 2. try to get a plain old tween to change the background color by setting relevantStyles='backgroundColor' neither of these seem to work though I ran into so many problems with the onTweenUpdate that it could have been something in how I was using it, not the approach itself.
