If you want to use the old Remoting, you'll need an AMF0 version of
RemoteObject, which you can get here:
http://renaun.com/blog/2006/07/26/71/

So instead of using "RemoteObject", use "RemoteObjectAMF0"

Subject: [flexcoders] Flex + coldfusion without FDS

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if it is possible to interact with Coldfusion without
the use of FDS.

Any valuable thoughts are welcomed
