I assume you want to change the selectedIndex property of the ViewStack? IF yes, here is how you do it:
1) Add a variable to the ModelLocator
class ModelLocator {
...
public var vsIndex:int;
}
2) Bind it to your ViewStack
<mx:ViewStack selectedIndex="{ModelLocator.vsIndex}">
3) Update it in the command
ModelLocator.vsIndex = 2; // or some variable here
