Yes, you can do that, but then the second class has to be defined
outside the package, and is only visible to the first class (and not to
other classes in the same package). Afaik.
// File mypackage/MainClass.as
package mypackage {
public class MainClass {
// ..
}
}
class HelperClass {
// ..
}
