Yes, there will be a Flex update, we’ll be releasing more info about it this coming week actually.

If you have paid for FDS you probably have also paid for support.  Contact your support rep and explain which bugs are affecting you and they may have fixes they can provide.  This is one of the benefits of a support contract, you get to work with someone dedicated to your cause and can often get incremental fixes (that are admittedly less tested) rather than the rollups that we put out less often.  Of course even better (for the Adobe engineers) is when support can provide viable workarounds J

Thanks Matt.

I had feared this might be the case. Are we likely to see a Flex update at any point in the near future? There’s several documented bugs I’ve come across which are reportedly fixed in the internal builds. It’s hard explaining to management that it’s a known bug and we can’t do anything about it but wait when they’ve paid a lot of money for Flex/FDS etc.

I believe it might have turned into a bug that we’ve fixed internally.  Not sure there was a workaround for it.

I just had a look at the flexcoders archive and this issue has been
mentioned before by Dima Ulich,
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/flexcoders/message/44032. Does anybody
know if there is a workaround and whether it was raised as a bug?
