I have a bunch of JPEG ByteArrays I am trying to get converted to BitmapAssets (I need to enable smoothing after the ByteArray conversion thats I why I need to use BitmapAsset, but there might be a better way) These ByteArrays are all generated from Java based off a remote file system, so I can't use the AS Embed statement.
So here's the question, what is the easiest way to achieve this? I have tried using a loader, but have had some odd results. Plus I have had troubles relating the loader's content back to the vo which contains the ByteArray. I have tried drawing the ByteArray off some examples I found, by looping through the ByteArray and calling readUnsignedInt (and all the other methods) but all I got was garbage drawings. The drawing side of things is something I am not very familiar with. I guess I am just wondering what is the best way to accomplish what I need? I think I have tried about every option, but It's just not working for me. Any help would be more than appriciated. Thanks!
