Thanx for ur reply, I tried that and i coudnt control the size of the menu bar, i tried placing the menu bar, a input text and then a button. the button is going beyond the control bar. is there any way to control the size of the application control bar so that it fits all the three?

Hi Jaga,
You can place the TexInput control, along side the MenuBar, inside a ControlBar.
