Hey Mike, Thanks for the reply, I am stuck at specifing the item:Object, I tried tree.getChildAt(0) to point the root node.Neither it doesnt throw errors nor it expanded the tree. In this case I used expandItem () method. But I should I specify the parameter item Object in the method to point to the root of the tree.
