[flexcoders] Text Area's Enditable when content Bound??

Greetings -

I have a text area which is part of an item renderer. As such its  
content (htmlText) is bound  to the dataProvider of the list using  
the item renderer. Which seems to have made the text uneditable... I  
can select text but not insert or delete text. Editable is true for  
the text area...

Thoughts?
