That is all that is required, if your url and back-end are correct. 

 

That is a relative url.  Are you sure it is available just like that
from the client?

 

How do you know whether it is working? 

 

Does that url respond with anything?

 

Hit it directly from a browser, exactly as you show it here, to make
sure it returns what you expect.

 

Then define a listener for the result event of the http service, so you
can handle that result data.
