Hey everyone, this is my first question to the list.

I have recently released an Online Auto Dealer Inventory browser written
in Flex 2 for several dealership websites. When viewing a single
vehicle we allow them to see the vehicles gallery which includes a 360
degree spin animation. These animations are provided to us by a third
party provider and were created in Flash 5. When loading these flash
animations normally they spin at a reasonable speed. But when I load
them into my Flex 2 using either the image component or the Loader, they
spin much faster. The clients are not happy with the spin speeds and
there are several thousand seperate flash files encompassing all
possible vehicle make/model combinations and therefore updating the
original flash files is out of the question. The original flash files
do not allow for the passing of any parameters that may control the spin
speed and even if they did I do not expect the problem lies in them,
rather it feels like an issue/bug with Flex 2. If you'd like to take a
look, try going here: Clayton Volvo

ionid=200017%26type=N%26generic1=flash%26pagesize=20000>

Click on the first vehicle that shows a proper thumbnail then click on
the 360 tab. Notice the spin speed. Now load the same SWF in a browser
window by going here: Seperated Flash
<http://www.claytonvolvo.com/SiteBuilder/CorporateImageLib/Models/3143_e\
x036_640.swf>

Notice the the speed difference between the two even though they are the
same flash file. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Or give
some insight into what it could possibly be and if they think its
fixable. I have not found anyone else complaining about this issue. I
am loading the flash file in an image component like so:

<mx:Image id="ExteriorFlashMovie"
source="http://www.claytonvolvo.com/SiteBuilder/CorporateImageLib/Models\
/3143_ex036_640.swf" width="100%"/>

but I have also tried using a Loader to no avail.

Thanks to anyone who can comment on this.
