OK I finally get it... The value cannot be XML, it must be a String.
Thanks, for helping me realize there is a second parameter to the Namespace constructor, thanks for showing me how to use the Namespace constructor... Examples like yours in the documentation would clear this up nicely. I'm going to report this to MM...
