One aside however. Although I understand Hank's frustration, I very much appreciated John Dowdell's participation in this thread. Though we may get frustrated, let's not get so hot that we are not nice to JD. He is a nice guy, and to the degree that we can keep things positive he will do what he can to help move this forward.
Greg, Mr Dowdell may or may not be a nice guy... I only know what I read. But he is an adobe representative, and as far as I know his actual *job* is community relations or something like that - dont know the exact title. But in any case he is not here out of the goodness of his heart. I believe that when an adobe representative is rude and/or out of line that it is a particularly egregious offense on a list like this. Thankfully most adobe people here are incredibly polite and awesomely helpful. And, honestly, this isn't the first time I have seen him get snippy over the years which may have amped up my response a bit. But honestly for the most part, the adobe people on flexcoders are great, which makes his response stand out even more. (btw ... you might note that JDs last post was after business hours, late

That may very well be. It is certainly true that people can be less than perfect when tired - myself included. But I guarantee if it was my job to speak politely to customers (which we all are), I would. Regards, Hank
