[flexcoders] Cairngorm for Actionscript 3.0 projects

Is it allright to use Cairngorm for AS 3 projects?
I'm getting up to speed with Flex and AS 3.0 and
want to start learning some relevant frameworks.

Which ones are among the best choices for
strictly AS 3 projects ?
