ok than set your itemrenderer to a custom hbox like this:
<HBox verticalAlign="middle" >
<String id="text" />
<Label text="{text}" />
</HBox>

There is an the attribute which is named "textAlign" for the Object
"DataGridColumn" .

set that label 100% width, and textAlign="center"
if this does not work use it inside a vbox
