If you are not using Flex Builder, which has all Flex docs in the Help system, you can get a local copy of the Flex docs by downloading the ZIP file (~45 MB) at http://www.adobe.com/go/flex_documentation_zip. This contains usage docs in PDF format and reference docs in ASDoc format.
