There is different simple ways to do that with Flex, just using the MXML language. There is also different ways to do "animated" image. If you have more details, maybe I could tell you the simpler for your case. Take a look at www.dosomethingamazing.com. You will see the solution for the same kind a requirement, but with video, not only gif. And a simple version of that could be mainly written in MXML. regards
