Hi Tom, Thanks for your response. What I am trying to do is to implement cancel functionality that will allow the user to cancel a pending request. According to the docs the disconnect method should remove all resoponders associated with a given RemoteObject instance and it seems to be exactly what I need. Do you know any specific conditions that must be satisfied for this method to succeed?
This is what the doc says - from this description it seems to beunconditional.... Any ideas? "Disconnects the service's network connection and removes any pending request responders. This method does not wait for outstanding network operations to complete."
