If I declare <mx:ComboBox id ="cb" selectedIndex="-1" dataProvider="{dp}"> and
have the data provider populated, it seems that the first row from the
dataprovider shows as selected; if I do cb.selectedIndex = -1 on creation
complete event of the main app it works as expected.
Am I missing something here?
