I posted on flexjobs group, but am posting here also for posterity.
Hope that's okay. :-)

I am a web developer that is new to Flex, and ActionScript for that
matter, and have a project that I am developing a specific Flex
application for. Quite simply, it is a member browser for a non-profit
client of mine. I am at a point that my grasp of Flex is losing ground
to the approaching deadline of my project and I am looking for a Flex
developer to help me out, for pay of course.

I have the application laid out and am successfully fetching the data
(FYI - I am using Lasso to generate the XML.)

View here: http://www.taftp.com/cms/flexsearch/main.html

XML Data Source:
http://www.taftp.com/cms/flexsearch/data/lasso/members.lasso (more
data will be appended to the XML than what is currently shown, for
display in the Member Detail state.

If you click on a member in the Data Grid you will see that the state
changes (preceded by an error). Currently no member data is displayed,
but ultimately needs to be. And none of the search controls that are
laid out work. The search (filtering) controls are what I need the
most help with. Specific descriptions of the work follows.

    * Clicking on a "Category" or Multi-Categories will filter the
Data Grid (DG) to show only members who are in that categor(y/ies).
    * Selecting/De-selecting "Regions" will filter the DG to show only
members who are in that region(s). - Entering search terms in the
"Advanced Search" text field will filter the DG to show only members
who are in that region(s).
    * Above listed search filters will need to work in conjunction
with one another.
    * I will also need help with itemRender of the DG to show 2
variations of the look of the DG, as indicated by the buttons "List
View" and "Detail View".

As time is of the essence please reply promptly with your interest
along with your hourly rate and estimation of how long this
development will take.

Thanks for your time. Further development opportunities may be
available following successful completion of this request.
