Hi Dimitros, Why don't use those methods directly from the DataService? I mean, DataService.mergeRequired and Dataservice.merge()...could be different?

And then use the DataService.dataStore.mergeRequired property to know when another client has had changes to the current data entity and then call DataService.dataStore.merge() to take in the changes if u want. Could I possibly use some function to identify & select a single record, and then pull that one record over into an ArrayCollection that FDS would manage? That seems a little cumbersome.
