[flexcoders] Write to Text File

[mazarflex]

is there any way to write data to a text file from an mxml page? Such 
as a text box stores to a text file. Also ca it be set to append to the 
text file or overwrite it ?? Any help would be great-even some 
direction; thanks a lot!!
