There's also ScreenWeaverHX. http://screenweaver.com it's open source and
has been working well for us.

I just finished building an .exe that launched full screen in flex 2.
From
within flex add fscommands into your initialize function.
fscommand("fullscreen" , "true"). Now compile your swf.
Once you have your swf..... you launch the swf on its own and there will
be a menu at the top. Click file > Create Projector.
This will create an exe file out of your swf which in turn will be able to
use the fscommand
