[flexcoders] Using Flex Components in an Actionscript Project

I'd like to have a class with what used to the ScrollPane in AS 2.0
inside it.

So 2 questions:

1. What is the equivalent of ScrollPane in Flex?
2. Is it possible to import a component into a non MXML project and how?
