Reminder:  This is fixed in the updater due out soon, so "short-term"
means 30-days or so.

Well, it appears I didn't read the full change report.  It looks like
there's a second problem that prevents unloading and leaks memory.

 

Your short term solution might be to copy the ViewStack source and fix
the issues in there.

 

There may be a workaround involving custom systemManagers, but it hasn't
been proven.

On the viewStack. Tried setting in AS3 just before unload and still no
effect.
