Yes.. In a way my question wasn't clear. Because my first point was to overcome that problem. But I soon realized that my button instance in the class knew nothing about the button in the UI (and vice versa ) before you replied me. And after your post i used addChild(btn) and i ve seen a very tiny button apart from the one in Flex UI.
So your post was very useful with the keyword "codebehind". A search on google gave me lots of results... I found one on http://www.onflex.org But in this one you set the listener functions in the mxml file.
