Note that you must have a reference to your Test class (and all of the other possible classes that will be looked up by name) somewhere in your AS code so that they are seen as dependencies and linked into the SWF at compile time. (I haven't tried this, but... perhaps someone on this list has tried using getDefinitionByName in combination with RSLs or modules to allow definitions to be lazily requested at runtime?).
