I've kinda lost track of this thread, but do you have a code example?
Something stripped down perhaps? If so I could possibly take a look at
it (I'm getting my butt kicked at work currently) but I just went
through something similar here not too long ago.

I've just tried calling invalidateList() on the tree after

new node but unfortunately this makes no difference.
