I think (and someone will correct me if I am wrong) but the useProxy is only
relevant to Flex Data Services. So no you cannot proxy in the way you
suggest.

You can of course set up a webserver of remoteObject on the CF side which
would use CFHTTP etc to proxy.

when using flex with coldfusion, does coldfusion support proxying via
named destinations?

e.g. <mx:HTTPService useProxy="true" destination="myProxy" ...>
or <mx:WebService useProxy="true" destination="myProxy" ...>

if yes, i guess the named destination would be configured through the
services-config.xml under the coldfusion root?

can anyone confirm if they are using coldfusion for proxying with flex?

i ask because i checked the documentation and see no mention of
configuring coldfusion for proxying. but coldfusion does have
aervices-config.xml so it seems like it could support proxying. but i am
not sure exactly how the adapter would be configured in
services-config.xml.

any help?
