Stop that wishfull thinking guys, the list is too long ;) I read somewhere that abstract classes / functions were meant to be in the release of AS3 but there was no time to do it for this release. They had to rewrite the whole engine and we gotta give them some credit for that. I really hope this will make into the next release.
As for overloading, the way they are handling function parameters at the moment, I don't think we will be seeing that feature ever.
