You'd better use a Java server with Smartfox for instance. You would than connect to it through socket. I have already acomplished that using my home-made Java server for games. :) On 4/27/07, lowdown976 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: I am working on a little No Limit Hold 'em game in Flex. I am going to use Cairngorm, because I love the basic structure, and I would like to use PHP with AMFPHP 1.9 to handle my services. Both are more familiar to me thatn anything else, but I love to learn new things so I am open to suggestion. Now here is where the tricky bit comes in. I can't for the life of me find a method for allowing real-time multiplayer capabilities. Will I need to use the LDS? Coldfusion? I just need some direction. I've searched in vane. Once I have a general area to focus my learning energies, I think I can get this thing finished.
