Hi guys, Electrotank needed to maintain an AS2 and AS3 api that will constantly be evolving. To make it more manageable for us we just maintain the AS2 version and wrote a simple upconversion utility to kick out the AS3 api. It is extremely useful but we don't convert any api changes (e.g. we don't change attachMovie to addChild). But we implement some replacement tag stuff so that you can do custom replacment during conversion. For us this is works extremely well. The API we are using it for is > 150 classes.
