Yea, it's pretty mundane to have to work that way.

I'm almost suprised that after all this time, Adobe didn't introduce "fitWidth" or "fitHeight" as options on the scaleMode parameter. It would make the most sense and would be a heck of a lot more useful than their current routine that really, for all intents and purposes, works only half the time.

It would be great to hear from someone @Adobe about the scaleModes and if there really is a bug. I think there might be - because setting something to show all with the result 2x the size is pretty awkward.
