Hey thanks for the reply Scott! I understand that I can't play AS3 content in Flash 8.
In the situation of a user only having Flash 8, they would see the Flash 8 / AS2 content. However, what if the user has Flash Player 9? I want it to load a Flash 8 movie that determines that the user has flash 9, and then load the AS3 version. I believe that is what http://www.kongregate.com/ is doing with some AS3 content (search for "understanding games"). Could someone point me in the right direction of how to accomplish this, I'm hitting a wall. Thanks! Nate
