I got the solution for this problem.
Yes you were correct the problem was on server side only and we need to
increase the max size of file which is being uploaded. By default dotnet
supports only 4 mb of file to be uploded and this can be increased through
adding below tag in web.config file under <System.web> tag
<httpRuntime maxRequestLength="10000" />
and problem was solved. Now upload of a very big size files doesnt give any
error.
