Listen to itemClick on datagrid, It fires only when an item of the datagrid is clicked.

You can monitor MouseEvent.DOUBLE_CLICK event and then use mouseEventToItemRenderer to fetch the item renderer at the mouse position. If the item renderer is not present in the listItems[0] array, that mean it is not part of the header i.e. it is rendering a data/row.
